Adoption Fee: $250 Diabora is a black and tan, cropped and docked female Doberman. She is estimated at about 6 years old and is up to date on vaccinations, and will be chipped and spayed once she gains some weight and before she is adopted. Diabora came to us with another female Doberman from Kentucky. They both spent have their lives in concrete runs and were used solely to line the pockets of a backyard breeder along with a number of other dogs. Diabora was very thin when she came into rescue, but has since gained weight. When she arrived at foster, it became clear to us that she has never once been in a house. She was afraid of doors, doorways, stairs, and spent the first several hours inside her foster home shaking. After some serious TLC, she is now well accustomed to living indoors and loves it! Despite the poor treatment she received, Diabora is as sweet as sweet can be. She absolutely loves people and cant get enough cuddles or pets. She does well with other dogs and we would prefer her new home have another dog for her to play with and show her the ropes. We don;t know about cats, but with her happy-go-lucky personallity, she'd likely be fine. Despite her age, she has plenty of energy and loves to play!
