Okay, we admit that we are positing an odd guess as to the breed mix of adorable Mavis. She has sort of peke eyes but a 50 pound body, and is what one might describe as pleasantly plump. She's got that spayed female, middle aged spread that many of us can relate to! This precious girl was picked up as a stray by animal control and her owners never came looking for her. We know she was an owned dog because she had long ago been spayed, and she was in good physical condition aside from testing positive for heart worm disease. Mavis is A++++ and though she is middle aged, she still has lots and lots of love and devotion to give to some lucky family or individual. Mavis will soon undergo treatment for heart worm, but we wanted to go ahead and post her up so we can find that perfect forever home for her. This girl is an absolute treasure.
